RE-ELECTION TO BOARD OF HEALTH

Stephen C. Themelis: Re-Election for Pepperell Board of Health (Election Monday April, 25, 2022)

Stephen C. Themelis | Pepperell, MA | Niklaus Painting

Mission Statement

My family has been living in Pepperell since 1964. I have operated my Pepperell business, Niklaus Painting and Construction Co. for the past 25 years and I have served on various Pepperell Town Boards and Committees for the past 17 years. I know many of the residents of this Town thru my personal and professional business interactions and community involvement. My resume and letters of recommendations support my position that I have the business acumen, civic experience and Town knowledge to help and assist the BOH in its duties in protecting the public health, welfare, safety and

the environment.

I believe that a healthy community is a happy community!

As a member of the Board of Health it would be my honor and privilege to serve the Town of Pepperell.

Besides addressing and enforcing health regulations, state sanitary codes, food inspections and many other local, state and national regulations as required by law I believe that the Board of Health's top

priority at this time, is to join forces with local town and cities, State and Federal governments and do our part locally, to help in the battle against the deadly infectious Covid -19 virus. We need to continue with public safety announcements and provide continuous updates on vaccination sites and Covid-19 protocols issued by the MA State Board of Health, the Governors Office and the Federal Center for Disease Control (DCD).

A second priority will be to ascertain the feasibility and efficacy of hiring a Social Worker to help support families and individuals in need of assistance especially now, more than ever, because of the social and economic impacts due to Covid-19 and the Heroin/Opioid Epidemic.

As a community stakeholder I care a lot about the wellbeing of our Town and I believe in giving back to one's community.

I offer my creative perspective and initiative to take on the tasks at hand and I pledge to work diligently with the Board of Health in making fair and impartial decisions for the betterment of all concerned.
